SHOULD I HAVE A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?

SHOULD I HAVE A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT?

For many brides and grooms, the thought of having their photo taken is a daunting one. This was certainly me in the lead up to our wedding, there is a reason I am behind the camera after all!  It is no wonder, it is not a common occurrence to have a photographer take your photograph, so why would you naturally feel at ease!

Amongst a variety of tips and tricks, your photographer will be able to share to help to ease any pre-wedding nerves, one great way to get comfortable in front of the camera is to have a portrait shoot with your photographer leading up to your big day.  A pre-wedding session is a nice opportunity to create a series of photographs of you both without your wedding dress, at a time you both often will look at your best, in a location that is special to you, with no time pressures or family and friends eagerly watching from afar.

In addition to this, it is a chance to get to know your photographer so you are fully at ease with them. Your photographer spends a significant portion of the day with you so feeling comfortable with this person will make the very best out of your images. The reasons I love these sessions so much is because it gives me a chance to really get to know my couples, gives me time and freedom to be creative, and allows me to show you ways to make you look your best on the day of the wedding.

These shoots can be arranged anywhere.  If you love a particular beach in Cornwall, want to capture a weekend getaway to New York, or making the most of an upcoming holiday destination, I would be excited to hear your plans and share some ideas.
